Two years since the release of their "Oxygen: Inhale" album, Canadian rock band Thousand Foot Krutch (TFK) is now back with "Exhale," which will be released worldwide on June 17.

While "Inhale" showcased the lighter and softer side of the band, "Exhale" features some of their boldest anthems to showcase the more aggressive side of TFK.

In a statement, TFK front man Trevor McNevan revealed that their albums were always meant to be a two-part story, and "Exhale" will complete that story.

"I had gotten the idea a few years back of having an album called 'Inhale,' showcasing the lighter, quieter side of the band that's always been a part of our albums, allowing us the freedom to dig deeper into that than we have before. And then to have an album called 'Exhale' that drops the gloves and dives even deeper into the aggressive side of the band. We didn't get soft on the last one. I promise!" McNevan said.

He added that the new album features assertive messages for underdogs, empowering them to follow their convictions and aspirations.

McNevan also spoke about the lead single from "Exhale" entitled "Running with Giants," which captures the energy of the album and has been a chartbuster since its debut. It has also become TFK's first music video since "War of Change," picking up over 333,000 views since it premiered on Loudwire early this week.

Thousand Foot Krutch is set to take their new songs on tour around the world and will perform at Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion and Rocklahoma fests. Find out more information about schedule updates on the band's official website.
