Speculations have been going around that actress Natalie Portman who played the role of Jane Foster in the first two "Thor" movies will no longer reprise her role in the next installment of the film. Rumors about her exit started long before the second installment, saying that she was only forced to reprise her role in the second movie because of her contract.

Since fans look forward to the end of Jane and Thor's relationship in "Thor: Ragnarok," many speculate that Portman's departure will mean a new love interest for the lead character.

With the announcement that actress Tess Thompson of "Creed" will be one of the new faces to grace the upcoming film, there are speculations that her character could be Thor's next love interest.

According to reports, Tess will be introduced in "Thor: Ragnarok" as a superhero. Although this has not been confirmed yet, avid fans of the film speculate that she will take the role of Valkyrie, who is also expected to appear in the next installment of "The Avengers."

Aside from Tess, Cate Blanchett will also debut in the film as Hela, the villain. The actress previously expressed her interest to become part of the Marvel franchise, and she is really excited about taking the role of a villain.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to premiere on November 3, 2017.
