Christian band Third Day made an appearance on Air1 Radio where they spoke about their song "Soul on Fire" off of Lead Us Back Songs of Worship.

"The song 'Soul on Fire' came along almost last minute on the new record...there is such a spiritual fervor in 'Soul on Fire' and it reminds me, reminds us of that excitement we first had when we first gave our lives to the Lord," said vocalist mac Powell. This is a place where we should all strive to be at with God; a place of joy while calling out to God.

Drummer David Carr agreed with that sentiment and added, "All of us who are believers at one point or another, and maybe you're in it right now, you've had that experience of just literally feels like you're on fire. You can't contain it, it's contagious."

He said over the years, life sometimes gets in the way of crying out for God's fire. So the song is all about rediscovering that passion for the Lord.

Lead Us Back Songs of Worship is their first worship album in around 12 years; in the past a lot of the songs were recorded live.

Third Day recently interviewed with BREATHEcast and they explained on this album, everything was done in the studio. They also explained that they had been sitting on this record since last year and have finally decided to release it.

Third Day has been making music for 20 plus years, and have enjoyed many successes, which is something guitarist Mark Lee credits to having a "gift" from God. He said while a lot of band's are formed on just "great music, we are formed on something more solid than that. We all feel called to do this. We feel like God brought us together as friends first...we have always failed back on that," said Lee. "It's such a blessing to be able to continue doing what we are doing."

The seven city Canadian run of the "Soul On Fire Tour" will kickoff April 29th in Montreal, QU. In June Third Day is bringing their "Third Day & Friends" event to Gwinnett Arena (June 6), which was sold-out a month in advance in 2014, as well as Red Rocks on June 9.

Standard and deluxe editions of LEAD US BACK: SONGS OF WORSHIP are now available with the latter version including a bonus disc of eight fan favorite live tracks from the road from a previous sold-out performance. There are also two additional previously unreleased studio tracks.
