'The Voice' 2016 Winner, Season 10 Finale Recap: Alisan Porter Hailed As The New Winner

"The Voice" season 10 winner has been crowned, it is Alisan Porter from Team Christina.

According to TV Line, Porter's victory serves as the strongest body of work in "The Voice" season 10, adding that the singer's victory is rare for an artists that is capable of shifting genres, from performing her version of various country music styles to hitting show tunes.

Following Porter are second placer Adam Wakefield from Team Blake, third placer Hannah Huston from Team Pharrell, and fourth placer Laith Al-Saadi from Team Adam.

Porter's triumph also marks the victory for a first female coach, in this case, Christina Aguilera, according to The Hollywood Life. As per the publication, the show open with Little Big Town owning the stage to deliver their newest song, which is entitled "One of Those Days." Pharrell reportedly produced their album and he went to stage and sang along while watching the country band perform.

Huston had the best vocal performance in the finale of "The Voice" season 10. The finalist performed "When We Were Young," together with Bran Nhira, Caity Peters, and Bryan Bautista. According to TV Line, her performance was stunning and stirring. The publication added that the group should consider having the Fifth Harmony path, in case solo setup ends up inefficient for the four members.

One of the most notable "The Voice" season 10 finale events includes Adam Levine's father, Fred Levine, who revealed his thoughts on his son. In a statement, as cited by Los Angeles Times, Fred said that the family had always talked about what he had been going to because they had known that he would not be a brain surgeon, adding that he had been lucky that he had found music.

"The Voice" season 11 follows the recently concluded season 10 and it is set to introduce Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus as coaches.
