'The Librarians' Season 3 News, Rumors: Flynn Carsen Returns; Actor Noah Wyle Commits To Appear In More Episodes Than Ever?

Good news for "The Librarians" fans as Noah Wyle has committed to appear in more episodes than ever when season 3 comes along, confirming the previous rumors circulating on the web.

"He will appear in 7 of the 10 episodes, the most he has done in one season. Additionally, Wyle is set to direct two episodes from Season 3. He also will write one," according to the news article from Deadline on "The Librarians" season 3.

This would not be the first that Noah Wyle tries his hand at directing as he already helmed an episode of "The Librarians" in season 2, as well as the finale of "Falling Skies" last season.

Noah Wyle has been listed as the executive producer of the series and has appeared for the first two episodes back in season 1 before turning over the reins of protecting the world to a group of interns.

"The Librarians" is based on TNT movie series of the same title starring Noah Wyle. In the series, Rebecca Romijn stars as Eve Baird as the new guardian who leads a band of quirky characters whose "mission is to protect the world from the secret, magical reality that's hidden all around us," said the description from TV.com.

The series also stars Christian Kane as Jake Stone, Lindy Booth as Cassandra Cillian, John Harlan Kim as Ezekiel Jones and John Larroquette as Jenkins.
