'The Legend of Korra' Book 4 Release Date, Video Game Rumors: 13 Episode Season 4 Airs January?

Activision has just announced that 'The Legend of Korra' videogame will be available on October 21 on PlayStation Network and PC, while it will be up for grabs on October 22 on the Xbox Marketplace.

This is truly exciting news for 'Legend of Korra' fans, as Activision's Robert Conkey officially announced the game's release date in his recent exclusive interview with IGN, he also demonstrated a new game feature which can be referred to as the new pro-bending mode.

Meanwhile, show creator Michael Dante DiMartino announced the release of Book 4 for the animated series. On his Facebook page, DiMartino wrote "All the pre-production is done and Studio Mir is hard at work on the animation. So this was a disappointing development for sure but as long as you are all able to see the show in some capacity, I'm grateful."

While there is no confirmation for the exact date of the new season's premiere, rumor has it that it will air online sometime in January 2015.

In terms of what fans can expect with Book 4, a brief revisit to the other seasons provides some hints. While Book 1 focused on Korra's Airbending, Book 2 started with the Water Tribes Conflict. Book 3 was based off the Earth Kingdom, so many feel that Book 4 will open in the Fire Nation.

Fans were left looking for more after watching 'The Legend of Korra' Book 3 finale. Viewers can recall that Zaheer discovered an ancient form of Airbending which allows him to take flight, and Korra almost died, inadvertently ending the avatar cycle. This has left fans wondering what could possibly happen next on the exciting installement of the Nickelodeon animated series.

What can be said for sure about the upcoming 'Legend of Korra' Book 4, is that it will contain 13 episodes.
