The movie "Son of God" shattered box office expectations by earning a staggering $26M in its first weekend and now the Bible Epic is hitting the road and going on tour featuring popular Christian artists, Francesca Battistelli, Sidewalk Prophets, Natalie Grant, Chris August, Meredith Andrews and Jason Gray.

 The Bible "Son of God" tour comes on the heels of the successful miniseries The Bible, which received 100 million viewers. The television series then released the cinematic feature "Son of God" which hit theaters over the weekend and has done well thus far. Now accompanying the film is the live music tour inspired by the motion picture soundtrack.

The tour is being promoted on the site stating, "The two-hour live event will bring the epic miniseries "The Bible" and the upcoming 20th Century Fox feature film "Son of God" to life in sight and sound with immersive video and stunning visual effects paired with live musical performances of popular songs by award-winning musical artists."

The goal of the tour is to set the stage and submerge attendees in the story of Jesus from the moment they walk in the venue.

The Bible and "Son of God" producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett have also created literature to go along with their Bible franchise.

The couple has reportedly authored a 150-page book titled "Son of God" and based on the movie. The book, written like a contemporary novel, looks at Jesus as a person and the enemies and friends that surrounded him. It also covers Jewish cultures and customs, the politics behind Jesus' trial and death, and the spread of Christ's teachings throughout the world.
