Last week, 'The Bachelorette' ended in a cliffhanger when Britt Nilsson, who had been let go from the show in tears when her potential suitors voted to date Kaitlyn Bristowe during the season instead of her, was seen crying in her hotel room. Contestant Brady Toops then went to visit Britt instead of staying on the show to date Bristowe, taking a huge risk by following his heart. The rest is Bachelorette history.   

Footage from last night's episode of 'The Bachelorette' revealed that Nilsson, when presented with the opportunity to "try for love" with Christian singer-songwriter Toops, excitedly accepted. After being voted off the show, Britt is seen crying in her hotel room and talking on the phone with her mother. She tells the camera, "The worst part is having had connections with some of the guys and not being able to pursue them any further." The crestfallen Britt, dressed down in her standard uniform of camo pants and red lipstick (a far cry from her ultra-glammed up look on the competition the night before) is then surprised to see Brady Toops at her door. 

After the two share a hug meant to comfort Britt, Brady confesses that he can't spend any more time on the show pursuing Kaitlyn Bristowe when he knows he has strong feelings already for Britt herself. Now wiping away tears of happiness, Britt says, "This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me." 

In a montage of footage taken from dates that took place in the Los Angeles area, Britt is then shown saying, "I have been here for a week and I have seen Brady every single day. I came on the show to find love. And I think Brady and I could be at the beginning of an amazing relationship." 

Both Britt and Brady have been open about their faith, Britt via her social media channels (she has over 300k followers with which she shares verses and uplifting messages) and Brady through his music. The two have been spotted with their families and friends at hockey games and outdoor picnics over the past several months, which sent rumors swirling. They have been seen on dates without cameras present in both Nashville (Brady's place of residence) and Los Angeles (where Britt lives) throughout this past spring. 

Since this relationship seems to be developing away from the pressure-cooker of a public relationships, which has been known to spell doom for other 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' contestants, perhaps Nilsson will get 'the final rose' after all. Her fans can continue to peek into her budding relationship with Brady Toops via bonus footage on 'The Bachelorette' episodes as the show will continue to follow their storyline. 

Brady Toops is slated to tour with David Crowder this summer.
