'The Bachelorette' 2015: Does Britt Nilsson Find Love with Christian Singer-Songwriter Despite Early Exit on Show?

In what may have been one of the most romantic moments on the scripted 'reality' television show, 'The Bachelorette', contestant Brady Toops chose to leave the show to pursue rejected lead candidate Britt Nilsson.

While music is supposedly Brady Toops "first love," the former St. Louis Cardinals Draft pick headed to Los Angeles this spring to try to find love of a different kind with one of the two 'Bachelorette' leads featured this season. The 33-year-old Christian singer-songwriter fell hard on the first night of the show for prospective lead Britt Nilsson -- a contestant known for her stunning beauty, her sensitive, open-hearted nature, and her penchant for loud sobbing.

In the season premiere episode of 'The Bachelorette', Brady Toops and Britt Nilsson are seen having a conversation about how they both sponsor a child overseas, presumably through the Christian Children's Fund, Worldvision, or a similar charity. "My faith is the number one thing to me," Toops says. An excited Nilsson replies, "Me too! The only thing! The number one thing!" Toops adds, "That's all my songs are really about. My faith. My spirituality."

In a twist, the potential suitors at the Bachelor mansion on the first night of competition were forced to choose between two lead candidates to "date" for the duration of the show. Nilsson, along with the down-to-earth, sassy and sarcastic Kaitlyn Bristowe, were the leads the men had to choose from.

When the voting favored Bristowe, a heartbroken Britt was escorted from the set, certain she had lost her chance at "finding love" on this cycle of the hit franchise. This marked the second dramatic exit by Nilsson, who was sent home by Iowa farmer Bachelor Chris Soules last season.

But Brady Toops was already too besotted with the aspiring actress from Los Angeles to continue on the show as a potential love match for Kaitlyn Bristowe. "My heart belongs to the lady that just left us," he told the newly-crowned Bachelorette, before exiting in a limousine to go "find" Nilsson. The episode ends in a cliff-hanger. According to various reports, the two are still dating. They have been spotted at a Nashville Predators hockey game, as well as at a picnic gathering. If these reports are true, the two will have been dating more than two months at the time of this writing.

Sponsoring a child is not the only charitable endeavor that Nilsson has endorsed. Just this past weekend, she was promoting the Los Angeles-based charity for the homeless, The Giving Keys. She was also pictured in her bare feet as part of the social-media initiative by Toms footwear, #withoutshoes. Although not often highlighted on the show, Nilsson's social media accounts indicate that she is a practicing Christian. She often shares verses and gives thanks via her Instagram account.

Currently based out of Nashville, TN, Toops will be touring this summer, opening for David Crowder on select dates. He's done shows in the past with Ellie Holcombe and toured with John Mark McMillan.
