'The Affair' Season 3 Premiere News, Spoilers: 'NCIS' Star Jennifer Esposito Joins Third Season Cast

A new set of characters is jumping on the new season of "The Affair," starring Dominic West as Noah Solloway and Ruth Wilson as Alison Lockhart.

Jennifer Esposito of "NCIS" is set to return to the Showtime series for the upcoming season as Noah's sister, Nina Solloway. She will play a recurring role and will appear in at least four episodes in the series. Viewers of the series will see her immediately in the premiere episode of season 3.

In season 2, Nina Solloway appeared in three episodes as Noah's sister and played into the intricate relationships in the series. During her debut as Nina, she explicitly said she was not fond of Noah's wife, Helen. The siblings had a spat when Nina asked Noah why he wanted full custody of his children.

Esposito is not new on television. A series regular on "NCIS" season 14, she also previously appeared in "Spin City," "Samantha Who?" and "Blue Bloods."

Aside from Esposito, "Desperate Housewives" alumnus Jonathan Cake will also join the series as Furkat, a photographer based in Brooklyn. In the upcoming season, he will play the role of the new boss of Whitney Solloway who will eventually become her love interest. His character is described as having a "polarized" attitude.

Furkat will also cross Whitney's parents in the new installment, Noah and Helen. It can be recalled that Scotty got killed in a car accident and was the victim of Helen, Noah and Alison's collective mistakes.

"The Affair" season 2 premieres on November 20, 10:00 P.M. on Showtime.
