Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and worship leader Teresa Peterson has just released her latest EP, Faithful, along with a new music video for the album's title track. The new EP marks Peterson's third album release, following her 2015 EP Freely Fully, and Say Something in 2008.
Peterson says the new EP is dedicated entirely to God's faithfulness, explaining, "Walking only in the promises of God, I wrote this album to speak life over all the barren circumstances of my life."
Faithful became possible after a successful Indiegogo fundraising campaign by Peterson, who had asked fans if they would be willing to help contribute to the goal of $5,000 for the album's distribution and music video, just as she was getting ready to wrap up her privately funded studio recording in Nashville. The EP is produced by Robert Venable and Jack Jones, with the latter also producing her previous album Freely Fully.
Peterson's journey of faith and music began in earnest when she felt a call from God at age 16, saying, "I desire for you to sing for me and for them." Through her music, she openly shares the struggles she has faced in this walk and the deep truth of God's continued faithfulness. Her refreshing honesty and vibrant music inspire hope and courage for what is to come.
To date, Peterson has played over 300 shows across the U.S. and performed at major conferences and music festivals in both secular and Christian markets, including SXSW, NCYC, and AbbeyFest. She has also opened for acclaimed Chrisitan bands Sidewalk Prophets and Stars Go Dim. She is currently scheduled to perform at several upcoming events this summer and fall, with full details available on her official website.
