'Tekken 7' Release Date, Gameplay: Tokyo Game Show Trailer Is Dynamic [WATCH]

Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new "Tekken 7" trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2016 and it is action-packed.

The clip opens with a fiery entrance, which is followed by sequences that feature the various Tekken characters. The subsequent sequences showcase a blazing combat between iconic Tekken characters and different battle stadiums in-game. Overall, the trailer suggest that the upcoming game is set to be dynamic and visually engaging.

The trailer concludes with information on its release date, which is slated for the spring of 2017. The game, which has already launched on arcades in Japan, is set to come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Steam for Windows.

According to Anime News Network, the game follows the story from Michima clan's point-of -view; however, the game will also feature the story arcs of the other characters. Bandai, as cited by the publication, revealed that the story of "Tekken 7" story will revolve around Claudio Serafino's exorcist group.

In terms of story arc, the Sirius Archers is an exorcist group who have been eliminating supernatural forces from the world, since the dawn of the civilization. It is also a highly secretive team, which is tapped by Mishima Zaibatsu to join his team. The Archers refused and its leader Serafino learn about the harassment of Zaibatsu's forces. As a result, the Archers' leader begins to scrutinize the latter team.

Along with the recently released trailer, Bandai previously revealed the inclusion of Akuma from Capcom's "Street Fighter," as well as Nina Williams as playable characters in the game update.

"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is scheduled for a release date on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows in early 2017.
