Christian rapper Tedashii spoke to the Bad Christian Podcast this week and although most of the conversation was serious, the emcee also spoke a bit about some artists he enjoys listening to.

Tedashii along with the co-hosts of BCP, began talking about Snoop Dogg and his impact on hip-hop when they brought up who Tedashii's favorite rappers are.

He is a big fan of Bun B, Andre 3000, Kanye West, and Lecrae. He also promised his pick of Lecrae was not just because they were good friends.

"I think Kanye is a genius even though he's seen as crazy because he's an innovator..." Tedashii said, before mentioning his labelmate. "Crae to me is killing his bars right now."

He continued, "If Andre 3000 called me and said 'Hey, I need a feature on this' I'm out the house today. I'm going to do this now."

They spoke on being a Christian rapper, and doing collaborations with secular artists. Tedashii said, he would consider it and make sure it was something that would not compromise his message. He also told BCP that he wanted his music to be better than standard Christian hip-hop.

"I want music to be palatable, but I also want it to be done in a way that doesn't rob me of opportunity...I want to create something so good that even if you disagree, you can't turn away," he said.

Tedashii has sold more than 120,000 albums to date, and garnered over eight million cumulative views on YouTube. His last release Blacklight debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart and No. 8 on the iTunes overall album chart. The talented rapper is also a radio host of the hip-hop show called 'Serium', powered by NGEN Radio, on Saturday nights at 8 pm Central time.
