Tamela Mann and Husband David Get Own Reality Show on BET, 'Meet the Manns'

Gospel singer Tamela Mann, along with her husband David (actor), just signed a deal with BET Network that will give the pair their own reality show set to air in 2015.

Called "Meet the Manns," the show will focus on their entertainment careers, marriage, and family.

"We're excited to announce our new television home is with BET," said the Manns in a press release. "BET is a great fit for the Mann brand and the perfect place for this new show. We'll take America behind the scenes of our day-to-day life, living out all our dreams as a family, at home and on the road. Of course, with 5 Mann kids, 8 grandkids, and extended relatives nearby, even the most ordinary family activities bring unexpected, outrageous results. There'll also be some news and reveals we're saving to share on the show - you'll have to tune in to find out what's in store."

Tamela's last single, "I Can Only Imagine," reached No. 1 on the Gospel Billboard charts which followed her mega-hit "Take Me To The King," after it spent 24 weeks in the top slot.

"The overwhelming support of 'Take Me To The King' was such a blessing in my life, and to have back-to-back No. 1 singles now with 'I Can Only Imagine' leaves me speechless," said Tamela. "God has blessed me tremendously, and I am thankful to everyone who has supported my music. I pray the Lord continues to use me to spread His Word and make a positive impact on the lives of others."

The singer recently received a NAACP Image Award at the 45th NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, California.

She won for Outstanding Gospel Album of The Year (Traditional or Contemporary) for her CD, Best Days Deluxe Edition. It was her first victory at the awards show.

Watch Mann's reaction to winning here.

"I give praise and thanks to the Lord for the many blessings, and I'm thankful to everyone for the strong support of my music," said Mann in a press release. "I'm honored to be recognized by the NAACP and to share my music with a new audience. All of the glory goes to Him."

Mann is a seven-time Stellar Award and two time Dove Award winner. She is also an actress and producer and has been nominated for the Grammy's.
