'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers: Amara Attacks Mankind In Midseason Finale, Episode 9

"Supernatural" had its midseason finale on December 9 on The CW. One of the Winchester brothers will go and pay a visit to Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino).

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) will come up with a plan that will have terrible consequences. It looks like it will lead to a visit with the fallen angel, according to IB Times.

Sam ran to God and asked for an advice on how they could stop the great ruler's sister. He had a vision showing that he was stuck in a cage with the devil himself. He told his brother, Dean (Jensen Ackles) what he saw in his vision. Dean was not supportive of his brother's vision and suggested that they find another way; which doesn't involve being partners with Lucifer. Although, knowing Sam and the plot, he would likely do it anyway.

While Sam gets busy with his plan, Dean on the other hand, tries to understand the hold Amara (Emily Swallow) placed on him.

Amara in the story line, is God's sister. She was locked away so that God could create mankind. Now, Amara seeks revenge by attacking and eliminating every man on earth.

The title of the episode 9 is "O Brother Where Art Thou." Could it mean that Sam will need his brother, Dean, when he locks himself up in a cage with the devil? Will the "Mark of Cain" have anything to do with it? It could mean anything. But what's guaranteed is that there will be obstacles that will test the relationship of the Winchester brothers.
