Superchick New Album 'RECOLLECTION' Releases Oct. 29th, Listen to New Song "5 Minutes at a Time" Here

Superchick is set to release their final album tomorrow (Oct. 29) titled RECOLLECTION. Before the official release, they have released a new track titled "5 Minutes at a Time" to fans to check out. You can see the full lyrics to the song below. and listen to the full song HERE.

Superchick recently wrote to their fans on their Facebook page about their feelings releasing this final record sharing, "You fans made us real. We stage-dived into the dark unknown and you caught us and carried us on your shoulders, record after record. Without you, Superchick would have been gone years ago. These final songs we've written for RECOLLECTION are our love letter to everyone who carried us. They are some of our best songs and I know as a band we'd all be crushed if no one got to hear them.

We also picked some of our favorite songs from our other albums to go on RECOLLECTION too - and then we remastered them to make them sound even better than they did the first time you heard them.

I hope you all are as excited as we are... and there's only FOUR more days until the new album is released into the wild! Have you pre-ordered your copy yet?"

Make sure to pick up Superchick's new album RECOLLECTION when it releases Oct. 29th.

Superchick '5 Minutes At A Time' Lyrics:

Life is hard, but it's been a little harder than usual lately

I wish I knew why I am struggling through this

What makes it harder is the lack of understanding on my part

Could I have changed this, why am I fighting life so hard?

How long can I survive this? I'm losing the strength to try

Tell me how am I supposed to live through this? How do we get by?

We take one breath and let it out

We take another and maybe somehow everything will work out to be just fine

We take life 5 minutes at a time

Life is hard - it didn't turn out like I hoped it would be

And I don't dare to dream if dreaming leads to this

'Cause when it's left to me, it's hard to see past the sky becoming dark

If it makes no difference, why am I trying to do my part?

I've climbed back from that fall again it feels like a hundred times

How do I believe in a hundred and one when we stumbled the ninety-nine?

To go on living when all you've lived for is gone

To find faith when everything you know about life might be wrong

To find hope in the dark, to still believe there's a dawn

This is the courage to make a life, it is the strength to go on
