Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day Features Mii Fighter Gameplay; New Pikmin Character in Smash Run (PICTURE)

Friday's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day featured the new Mii Fighters in action against Mario as game developer Masahiro Sakurai showed off their differences in size.

"Pic of the day. Some of the physical characteristics of Miis get carried over when you use them as Mii Fighters. The smaller ones become speed fighters and the bigger ones are more akin to power fighters," he wrote in the Nintendo Miiverse.

In the picture Mario and the two fighters are sizing each other up in a colosseum themed level.

Today's Pic of the Day features a Smash Run assist trophy character and a Pikmin character as well.

"Pic of the day. Here's a Poppant, an enemy that appeared in the previous game in this series. Poppants will appear in Smash Run, scampering around as they drop a variety of items," wrote Sakurai. See the image of Poppant here.

Sakurai also posted another picture, "There are other bonus characters that appear in this game, too. Here's an Iridescent Glint Beetle from the Pikmin series. Keep hitting it!! Keep hitting it for gold!!" See the image here.
