‘Suits’ Season 5 Renewed or Canceled: Show Returns January 2015 for Season 4 Second Half

Fans of USA Network's 'Suits' can now rejoice as the show had just been confirmed for Season 5.

Details about the 'Suits' Season 5 premiere have yet to be made public, but reports revealed that the show will return next year for the rest of the Season 4. The mid-season finale of 'Suits' left fans wondering about the fate of the firm.

'Suits' creator Aaron Korsh recently took to Twitter to answer some of the fans' questions. During the Q&A session, Korsh revealed that viewers will get to see Harvey Spectre's mother and brother in the next season, but he did not disclose who have been cast to play the roles.

Also, at least one standalone case will be featured in the final six episodes of the fourth season, Korsh said.

The drama stars Gabriel Macht as Harvey Spectre, Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross, and Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt. It's set in a fictional law firm in New York City, as 'Suits' follows the story of Mike Ross, a once college scholarship recipient who was kicked out of school after he sold answers to a math test that he had memorized.

Then, Ross accidentally lands an interview with Harvey Spectre, who needs to hire a Harvard-educated lawyer as an associate. The rest, as they say, is history.

Meanwhile, two of 'Suits' main stars are set to make their directorial debuts. Macht is reportedly helming the first of the six episodes that are scheduled to hit the small screen in the second half of the current season. Adams, on the other hand, will be directing the show's 14th episode, Korsh said.

Korsh also revealed that there could be another possible crossover, but there is still no specific ending for Season 4 at the moment. The show runner said he has yet to confirm when 'Suits' will officially return next year, but if he has to guess, it would probably be sometime in January.
