In line with David Ayer's upcoming DC Comics film "Suicide Squad," the director has voiced his thoughts on reshoot rumors. Also, Harley Quinn's Jester Suit has been spotted in the trailer.

With the rumors indicating that reshoots had been done to add more humor to his upcoming "Suicide Squad," Ayer has revealed his stand. In his interview with Fandango, Ayer said that they walked the edge and his film is a PG-13 film.

Ayer also mentioned that the cut he was working on really was his cut and he was one of the people who believed that there was only one cut of a film, adding that there was always things that did not make it in that he thought would be a lot of fun to share.

According to Ayer, there was a lot of framework that had been installed, adding that it was a very dense film, in story, set-up, and visuals. The "Suicide Squad" director also mentioned that there were a lot of Easter eggs and there were a lot of ways to move forward.

Speaking about Easter eggs, hawk-eyed viewer eobard thawne has see a Harley Quinn Easter egg in the latest "Suicide Squad" trailer, Comic Book has learned. According to the publication, a familiar costume is seen behind the black case in the trailer.

It is believed that it is the classic red and black jester outfit Harley Quinn is associated with in the comics and reports say that Margot Robbie, who plays the villain in the film, confirmed that they had tried various outfits on for the film.

While Harley Quinn has not worn the iconic jester outfit in the "Suicide Squad" trailers, it is assumed that there is a chance for fans to see her sporting the red and black costume at one point in the film.

Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Aug. 5. Watch the trailer here.
