Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese woman sentenced to death for refusing to convert from Christianity to Islam, spoke to Fox News in an exclusive interview in which she gave all glory to God and said her battle is not over.

During the interview with Fox host Megyn Kelly, the heroic woman explained her rough ordeal while she was sentenced to death under Sharia Law.

"My faith was the only weapon that I had in these confrontations with imams and Muslim scholars because that's what I believe," she said, "Faith means life. If you don't have faith, you're not alive."

Ibrahim said that she did not give in to the pressures because it was not her truth. "If I did, that would mean I gave up," she stated.

Ibrahim, although now free living in New Hampshire, said her battle is not over because so many women are still suffering.

"They're many Miriam's in Sudan and throughout the world; it's not just me," the 26 year old mother of two said.

"I put my life at risk for the women of Sudan, I was close to them and I felt their suffering. I share with them the difficult circumstances in prison and in life in general," she continued.

Ibrahim drew attention to the devastation happening through the world of Christian persecution. "With regard to the situation of Christians this is a well-known fact that they live under difficult circumstances and they are persecuted and live harshly," she said.

Ibrahim gave birth to her a daughter in prison under terrible circumstances. "I had to give birth with chains on my ankles," she confessed, "It was difficult."

Although now in America and safe she noted, "Right now I still don't have a stable life, but it's better than prison."

Ibrahim would like to use her experience to be an advocate for people around the world under the type of persecution she endured. "I'd like to help the people in Sudan and Africa especially Women and children and to promote freedom of religion," she confessed.

She also said she needs something from people. "I still need support, I need prayers, I need people's support."
