'Star Wars: Battlefront' News: Game Features Carbon-Freezing, Single Player Mode

Along with a new single player mode, it is revealed that Electronic Arts' "Star Wars: Battlefront" is set to feature carbon-freezing.

Electronic Arts' "Star Wars: Battlefront" is set to showcase the carbon-freezing chamber, Forbes has learned. As per the publication, it is an iconic locale where the combat between Luke and Darth Vader took place. In addition, it is also where Han Solo was frozen before he uttered his most famous lines in the "Star Wars" films.

It is notable that Electronic Arts managed to enhance the graphic of the carbon-freezing chamber in "Star Wars: Battlefront," as evidenced by steam coming from the chamber's vents, as well as the uncanny lighting that comes underneath.

The carbon-freezing chamber is assumed to be one of the notable areas in "Star Wars: Battlefront." The game is set in Bespin, which is described as a beautiful place that cradles grass, sculptures, fountains, and buildings, which contrast to the AT-AT Walkers and orbital strikes. Along with the chamber, "Battlefront" also features Bespin's five maps, which offer wide open spaces, along with grenades and flare laser.

In other news, details on the new single player mode for "Star Wars: Battlefront" have surfaced. As per reports, the feature lets players play Fighter Squadron and Walker Assault offline either in a solo session or with a friend.

In a statement, as cited by Express, an official game developer said that they also had a couple of surprises in store that they knew their fans had been looking for, especially those who had been clamoring for ways to have more options to enjoy "Star Wars: Battlefront" online.

"More to come soon," the developer said.

"Star Wars: Battlefront" Bespin was released on June 21.
