Star Wars 7 Plot SPOILERS!

It looks like Star Wars runs in the family. George's son Jeff Lucas says he wants to lend a hand for the upcoming trilogy. Lucas even told Flicks and the City that he knew what the plot would be for Star Wars7. He didn't reveal too many specific spoiler but did say that, like the previous six movies, Star Wars 7 should focus on a new generation of characters.

"I would like to see it follow a new generation. I'm not saying that's what happens. I'm saying that's what I would like. Because to me these next movies are about the next generation, as the prequels were about a new generation, and the originals were for that generation. So I think following a new generation, and a new group of heroes and villains, I think that's the right move to make and that's where I would want it to go."

There's been a lot of talk about the plot being centered around Han Solo and Leia's children. There's also been rumors surrounding Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher reprising their original roles. Jeff Lucas didn't confirm anything in the interview but did say it would be awesome to see them in the new movie.

There's also been a lot of speculation surrounding other casting rumors. One story popped up online that Star Trek villain Benedict Cumberbatch being cast in Star Wars 7. Lucas was not too keen on mixing the two franchises, even though they share the same director in J.J. Abrams.

"I don't know if I would be so thrilled. I think that would be the beginning of the apocalypse to if you were to cross Star Trek with Star Wars. I think that's a dangerous combination. Again, it would be interesting. It's an idea to explore if anything."

One actor Jeff Lucas did want to see cast in Star Wars 7 was Saoirse Ronan.

"I would. I like that they're not going mainstream with it, and they're keeping to the conduit if you will that my dad kind of applied to all his movies, except for he couldn't escape Harrison, but new faces, and I 100 percent subscribe to that."

Star Wars 7 is scheduled for a 2014 release date. Production for the new movie will begin next year.
