The Sidewalk Prophets Finish Winter Jam & Rock n Worship Roadshow Tours 2013

The Sidewalk Prophets have been busy at work with just recently getting off tour with Toby Mac and Red in the "Winter Jam Spectacular".

The Nashville based band released their latest album Live Like That in 2012 and have continued to play and tour with artists to promote the new record.

Live Like That is the second studio album released by the Prophets, with recording label Word Records, and has earned much appraise for its  biblical truths throughout the music.

The songs contain very large amounts of biblical references that also inspire fans to live their life like Jesus would have done. "Its not a safe thing to live like Christ" says lead singer David Frey. "You're going to have people criticize you and put you down. It says that in the book of James. But when you think both of the sacrifice Jesus made and how off the charts that was, but also  of what that won for us, you realize that for those of us who persevere and follow him, it will be a good and a amazing journey".

"Live Like That", the albums name and the single debut, has hit NO.5 on the US Christian charts for the best single in 2012, and US Billboard 200 at 83 for being one of the top albums.

The band has spoken to audiences in the thousands from church camps to 20,000 seat arenas.

Yet, what always stands out the most with this band is their faith in God and how they obviously make Gods plan standout in their music. "There comes a point in our lives when we ask: what exactly is this life for?" stated Dave. "This album is about the reflection of our journey in music and our desire to live our lives in such a way that it is rooted in a deep passion and love that knows no bounds."

Speaking of the journey, the "Winter Jam Spectacular" tour ended recently and included more artists as NewSong, Matthew West, Jamie Grace, and American idol winner, Jason Castro. This year marked the third time the band had been welcomed back  to the tour with nearly all tickets being sold out.

With the band having a lot of new production, Frey stated the group is ultimately having fun and will share their heart through powerful worship during these shows. The prophets also had the opportunity to tour on the "Rock and Worship Roadshow" this year with MercyMe and Francesca Battistelli.

Frey stated in an interview with Global Dispatch radio, that in each tour with those artists they learn something new every time. How artists Toby Mac and David Crowder completely overwhelm the audience and captivate their every thought, Frey stated that they too would like to learn how to captivate such big crowds as those in worship.
