Much anticipation awaits the release of Sherlock Season 4, which results in its constant appearance in media news headlines.

As fans have become restless and anxious to see what is in store for the characters in Sherlock's fourth installment, not much relief can be offered due to the lack of a definitive release date.

Rumors have been claiming that the two lead stars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman of the series have been busy with their other projects which is causing the delay in the show's return. In brighter news, a major spoiler has been released concerning the new set of episodes in an attempt to satiate the fan base.

It is certainly confirmed that the show will appear for a fourth season, but again it is unknown when it will be available to watch.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman may be too busy to continue filming for the series, but that doesn't mean that producers are ready to bid goodbye to their viewership. The co-creator of the show, Steven Moffat just recently gushed about the series upcoming come back.

Additionally, cast member Freeman has also revealed a big spoiler for the show by saying that his onscreen wife Mary Morstan will be meeting her death.

While Sherlock Season 4's release date, according to the news, is said to be unclear this time, creators of the show said that filming will eventually start within this year.
