Seventh Day Slumber Celebrates Successful "City RockFest Tour," Announces Headlining "Summer RockFest Tour" Kicking Off June 12

Seventh Day Slumber City RockFest Tour

Christian music's premier multi-artist rock outing, the "City RockFest Tour," last week concluded its extensive 24-city spring run. Headlined by Dove Award-winning band Disciple, the third annual tour also featured Seventh Day Slumber, Wolves at the Gate, Spoken, As We Ascend, Random Hero and The Protest.

Founded and hosted by Dove Award-winning rock band Seventh Day Slumber, the tour visited Spokane, Wash.; Abilene, Texas; Columbia, Md.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Fairfield, Calif., among other cities, before wrapping May 18 in Evansville, Ind. Each year the "City RockFest Tour" draws legions of devoted fans around the country with a lineup featuring many of Christian rock's top names. Presented by ChildFund International, nearly 300 children were sponsored during the tour this year.

"This tour has been amazing," says City RockFest founder and Seventh Day Slumber frontman Joseph Rojas. "We love these bands so much, and it was humbling to witness them interact with their fans and love on people each night. I believe the efforts of all those involved will echo into eternity."

"We heard many stories of teens who were on the verge of suicide, but instead chose to give their hearts to Christ," adds Rojas. "Lives were changed for Jesus during the tour, and that's what it's all about."

Next up, Seventh Day Slumber is set to headline the upcoming "Summer RockFest Tour." Kicking off July 12 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin's Lifest, the tour will feature Spoken; Random Hero; Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh; Amongst the Giants; and Zahna. The "Summer RockFest Tour" will hit Colorado Springs, Colo.; Aztec, N.M.; Carthage, N.Y. and Somerset, P., among numerous other cities.
