‘Scream Queens’ Season 1 Cast News: First Trailer Shows Mystery Killer Target Every Character [TEASER]

The latest promo teaser of 'Scream Queens, the horror-comedy anthology television series on FOX, offers the viewers a glimpse of what they can expect in upcoming show.

A report in Latin Post states that the video clip shows that a mystery killer targets all cast members of the series. Earlier, in April, Entertainment Weekly reported that show creator Ryan Murphy would only expose the identity of the mystery killer at the fag end of the show.

In the trailer, fans can see that irrespective of their personal differences, all the cast members of 'Scream Queens' Season 1 together at a sorority party. The cool girls also referred to as the Chanels, Abigail Breslin and Emma Roberts; the losers, Keke Palmer and Lea Michele; as well as the dean, Jamie Lee Curtis, can be seen inside the sorority house, while the killer - donning a devil suit - is seen lurking just outside.

All through the night, the song "Die Tonight?" by Charli XCX kept the party alive. According to the report, the song was just right for the 'Scream Queens' story, particularly with its line, "We are gonna die tonight." However, it is still unclear as to which particular character will be killed off first, since the cast members are very secretive about their characters and the plot.

Nevertheless, Nick Jonas, who will appear as a guest star in the much anticipated horror-comedy series, shared a few aspects about his character in 'Scream Queens' Season 1. According to another report in Entertainment Weekly, although the "Jealous" singer appeared in various TV series, he will portray his first ever comdey role in 'Scream Queens.'

Jonas, however, admitted that he did not go through the script before signing on for Murphy's show - a move that was somewhat unusual for him. Jonas said, "With Ryan, you just have to trust that it is going to be great," adding, "He has an incredible talent - a man with a lot of vision and care for what he does. I was blown away at getting the chance to work with him."

He revealed that he would be playing the role of a preppy frat boy named Boone, and added that he was "drawn" to the character. Jonas said, "The idea about his character, at face value, is one thing," adding, "But, you find out later that there is something else going on. It is going to keep people on their toes. I cannot tell you much, but it is full of surprises."

The official premiere date of 'Screen Queen' Season 1 is yet to be announced.
