Rock Band High Flight Society Mourns the Unexpected Loss of Their Drummer

On the morning of May 20th, rock band High Flight Society's beloved drummer Scotty Lockridge passed away unexpectedly.  The announcement was made via their Facebook page.

Open to all, the viewing was held on Wednesday May 23rd and the funeral on Thursday at The Cedartown Church of God in Cedartown, GA.

Band members Jason Wilkes, Michael and John Packer have been received much support in the past week from family, friends, fans and even strangers.

Heartfelt messages from fans were sent to the band members in response to the sad news.

"At least we all know he's making God laugh with his crazy antics. You left behind such a great inspiration Scotty, maybe if the story is true it'll be you drumming in heaven when we hear thunder," wrote Kaitlyn Reese on their Facebook page.

Another Facebook fan Patti Hamilton wrote, "Such loss and devastation in this world. But we know there will be a sweet reunion in that glorious Kingdom to come. Praying for Christ's strength, peace and comfort for all of you now."

BREATHEcast encourages you to say a little prayer for the band and for the family members of Scotty Lockridge.
