Creed frontman Scott Stapp has had a whirlwind last few weeks as his wife of eight years has filed for divorce, and a new video has surfaced where he admits he is bankrupt and living in a hotel.

News of Stapp's divorce comes as a huge shock considering the couple spoke to BREATHEcast back in June, and talked about how strong their marriage was. The Stapp's seemed to be doing exceptionally well, and there was nothing but support coming from both of them.

As someone who battled with addiction and suicide in the public eye, he documented his many struggles with his auto-biography 'Sinner's Creed'. He credited his coming back to the Lord and reality to his wife Jaclyn.

The former Mrs. Florida America was asked what the best advice was for standing by "your husband," to which she replied, "Definitely support and having patience and know when to just stop and breathe."

Scott added to what his wife said, reflecting on some of the sentiment he made clear in his book.

"I wouldn't even be here without this woman. I just thank God everyday for putting her in my life. I think for all wives out there, you can be such a divine instrument for God in your husband's lives, and that's such a pivotal role," he said.

Since then things have seriously changed as Jaclyn has filed for divorce and is asking for full custody of their children because of an alleged month long methamphetamines and steroid binge last month. According to the Miami Herald, Jaclyn feels Stapp is incapable of taking care of the children and has threatened to kill himself and others during fits of paranoia.

Two of the more telling text message exchanges released to the public include, "I'm coming to get you Satan and children. No mercy. You know how this ends. God created you and now God is ending you," and "Florida is not safe. Biological weapons on the way. U have to leave with kids and meet me in Atlanta."

The report also says Jaclyn is trying to have the "Arms Wide Open" singer committed into treatment for up to five months.

Earlier today Stapp posted a 15 minute vlog to his Facebook where he explained everything that is happening to him.

"Right now I'm under some pretty vicious attack. I still haven't figured out the reasons why except that about eight weeks ago I began an audit, not only of my record company, but my personal finances. During the course of that audit, a lot of things were uncovered. A lot of money was stolen from me, or royalties not paid."

The singer continued, "That's when all hell began to break loose. All of a sudden the IRS has frozen my bank accounts two or three times to leave me completely penniless. I don't even understand that, why all this is happening at the same time. When I called to find out why, they said they had an address mix up, it was a clerical error."

Stapp was told his money would be returned to him in nine to ten months, and said he was looking for a really good attorney to set the record straight and get him back in order.

Right now I'm living in a Holiday Inn by the grace of God because there's been a couple weeks where I had to sleep in my truck," he said, "I had no money, not even for gas or food. I went two days without eating because I had no money, and ended up in a emergency room."

He did however, offer his friends and fans some consolation, "I'm sober, I'm safe as of right now...don't believe in any of the lives. The truth will prevail, the truth will come out. "

"I've recently rededicated my life to Christ...my message and my testimony, and how Christ has done so many amazing things for me," Stapp said, "God has a reason for this...I know He has a purpose."
