New details on the Samsung Galaxy S8 release date, specifications, and price have surfaced.

Rumors say that Samsung's Galaxy S8 is set to be released in the first quarter of 2017, according to Samsung Galaxy Note 6i. While some agree that Samsung may release the next flagship that early, it is viewed that the Samsung S8 is going to be one of the best smartphones in 2017.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S8 is set to feature the Bio Blue technology, Mobipicker has learned. According to the publication, Samsung is set to showcase the tech for a 4K screen on the Galaxy 8 with a density of 806 ppi pixel. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge is also bound to utilize Bio Blue, but with only a small ppi pixel density.

The said Bio Blue display for the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also linked to VR capabilities for long span of time, which prevents eye strains, according to Digital Spy. As per the publication, the tech can be done by reducing the blue light levels of the phone display to as low as six percent.

According to Galaxy S8 Info, Samsung's upcoming smartphone is set to run the 2017 Android operating system and the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 3.2 GHz processor.
