The Rolling Stones Have Confirmed May 2nd in LA at Staples Center For Opening Date of U.S. Tour!

The Rolling Stones have been announcing the tour dates and locations for their "50 and Counting" 2013 North American tour.  The news broke that their first US tour stop would be in LA but no date had been confirmed, until now.

May 2 the Rolling Stones will be making their way to L.A. to perform at the Staples Center for the first stop of their tour.

The Rolling Stones announced their 2013 North American tour dates a while back but were unable to give a specific date for their first tour stop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles because of the NHL playoffs taking place around that time.

Even though the date is confirmed, the band still warns of possible changes all depending on the NBA and NHL sports playoff schedules.  But for now, fans at least have a date to look forward to.

The band added a second Hyde Park date after the band's July 6 show sold out within minutes. The Rolling Stones will be performing at Hyde Park July 13 with tickets going on sale for the second Hyde Park show on April 12 at 9am. The band also has made some changes due to fan complaints over high ticket prices by announcing that over 1,000 tickets per show were made available as a part of general sale at the price of $85. The original ticket prices ranged from $150 to $600.

The Stones also announced they will be playing the Glastonbury Festival this summer, so there are plenty of new opportunities to see the legends themselves.
