Worship music collective River Valley Worship has announced the release of their upcoming EP, Million Lifetimes Deconstructed, releasing on BEC Recordings on Nov. 16. The new project includes two new songs and revisits several songs from their previous full-length album, Million Lifetimes, released last year.
River Valley Worship is a collection of artists, musicians, and songwriters who are an extension of the vibrant creative culture within River Valley Church. With campuses spread across the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota-area, as well as an international campus in Swaziland, Africa, River Valley Worship, is making a global impact.
Brand new for the upcoming EP are the two songs, "Cross and the Crown," and the Christmas song, "Adore." Their current radio single, "Hope Has A Name" was the No. 2 most added at AC this week, with over 17 stations reporting adds. This EP features a "deconstructed" version of this song along with three other songs, "Calvary's Shadow," "All This Time," and "Chain Reaction."
"It's been an absolute joy to revisit the songs that have meant so much to our church as well as bring a few new moments to the world and our community through this EP," Ryan Williams of River Valley Worship says. "We prayed that God would breathe on these moments, and give us new vision to translate these songs in a simpler way, all the while keeping the urgency of the original versions. Building something new by deconstructing the familiar. This is our worship for this season."
