'Rise Of The Tomb Raider' News: 4K PS4 Pro Showcases High-Quality Visuals [TRAILER]

Crystal Dynamics' "Rise of the Tomb Raider" for the PlayStation 4 is set to showcase enhanced visuals.

In a statement, via a gameplay livecast, Crystal Dynamics' Scot Amos spoke his thoughts on what to expect from the game's visuals. In terms of details on how the new environment and lightning affects the hardware, Amos said that they had to reinvent a lightning pipeline, which suggests enhanced reflections, more dynamic footage, and a closer player-character personality, which can be gotten from the close-up.

Amos also enumerate three modes for "Rise of the Tomb Raider." In the same interview, he mentioned that the game is set to have the 4K Resolution mode, which aims 30 frames per seconds or fps while running at a 4K resolution. According to VG247, the mode does not guarantee if the 4K value is set to be "native" or not.

The Enriched Visuals mode is the another mode for the game. As per Amos, it the frame rate becomes limited to 30 fps; however, the game will run at a 1080p resolution.it is followed by the third mode, which is the High Frame-rate mode. It targets 60 fps with the same 1080p resolution.

In line with these modes, it is added that the third mode may not always achieve the 60 fps target; however, the studio reassured that the game's frame rate is more than 45 fps.

With the aforementioned improvements, it is assumed that the game will provide players a more realistic and engaging gaming experience.

Initially released in 2015, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" can be played on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
