‘Revenge’ Season 4 Spoilers: Emily Thorne Facing Major Changes in New Season

Emily Thorne, played by Emily VanCamp, has finally gotten the payback that she's been longing for since the series premiere of 'Revenge' in 2011.

Emily was able to lock Conrad Grayson away behind bars, but his wife, Veronica, is suffering a worse fate. Emily's former mother-in-law is currently sporting a hospital straitjacket instead of her usual designer threads.

Victoria was committed at the end of Season 3 because Emily managed to convince doctors that her mother-in-law had become fixated on the idea that she was actually Angela Clarke. To prove her theory, "Victoria" dug up Amanda's grave.

So what's in store for the "Revenge' heroine? According to E! Online, fans can expect a big shift in VanCamp's character come the new season. Emily, once hell-bent on retribution, will be putting away her guns and plans of revenge to lead a simple and honest life.

According to executive producer Gretchen Berg, Emily will be "living in truth" now that she's learned that her father, David Clarke, is actually alive. Aaron Harberts added that Emily will have "to deal with a blowback from what she's done; how does that push her relationship forward? She's going to have to own a lot of the things she's done."

E! Online also revealed to fans that Harberts' quote specifically correlates with Emily's and Charlotte's relationship, and how the sisters will react to the return of their father.

It has also been confirmed that once Season 4 premieres, viewers will be able to pick up where they left off instead of trying to navigate a time jump.

Season 4 of "Revenge' will premiere on ABC on September 2014.
