Revenge Season 4 Spoilers: Jack, Emily Romance Brews Following Aiden Death?

Revenge Season 3 ended with the tragic death of Aiden Mathis, played by Barry Sloane. Character Emily Thorne is certainly devastated and moving on might be the most difficult challenge of all. But given her current status, fans are expecting that two former love interests will rekindle their romance.

In an interview with Zap2It, co-actor Nick Wechsler said that though an Emily-Jack team up is possible, it might take some time to complete the healing process.

"[Emily and Jack are] probably not available because of their heartbreak but they're going through the same thing at the same time and there's a window now."

This is corroborated by executive producer Sunil Nayar saying that as far as Season 11 is concerned, Emily and Jack can only go so far as grief and anger in their relationship.

"...certainly the one person who will understand the loss she's experiencing is Jack because he lost the woman he fell in love with and the mother of his child. So we're definitely going to see the relationship deepen and grow," Nayar told Entertainment Weekly.

Wechsler also confirmed that Aiden's death is final and the show is not going to play a trick and cover up his removal from the story line. Nayar shared that Josh Bowman's character is going to turn dark in the upcoming season. "I think when Josh was saying those things, it was in the middle of those episodes where he shot Emily," E! Online reported.

Revenge Season 4 returns on ABC on the Fall.
