As the world mourned the loss of the earthquake victims in Nepal and the unrest in Baltimore, former Olympian athlete Bruce Jenner announced that he believes he is a woman and has begun the process of becoming one. His step daughter Kim Kardashian came to his defense and evangelist Franklin Graham took to Twitter to give them both a brief Bible lesson.

On Friday April 24th Jenner openly confessed to Daine Sawyer on 20/20 that he believes God made him with several manly attributes but gave him the "soul of woman."

Jenner said he started taking female hormones after his second marriage crumbled but reportedly stopped because of Bible scripture in Deuteronomy 22:5 that says, "A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God."

He confessed that he has always loved to cross dress and admitted that although he was once ashamed of it, he now has embraced it and believes "God" wants him to use this to do good in the world.

Immediately after the interview his stepdaughter from his marriage to Kris Jenner stepped up to commend his decision to transition into a woman. Kim told Matt Lauer that she supports the choice because that's what make him happy. See below:

Upon hearing Kim's response Franklin Graham, the son of world renown evangelist Billy Graham, stepped in and gave the two of them a mini Bible lesson based on his thoughts on the matter.

"This morning ?#KimKardashian told ?#MattLauer on ?@Today in essence that she supports ?#BruceJenner becoming a woman if it makes him happy," he tweeted.

Adding, "The Bible doesn't promise happiness but we can have peace & joy. It's not about self-gratification, but giving as Christ gave to us."

Graham is also very outspoken against gay marriage and finds his arguments grounded in scripture as well. The reverend recently slammed a CNN article that claimed Bible-believing Christians and traditional Americans "had better adjust to a new reality" homosexuality, transgender etc...

He declared that the Centers for Disease Control figures that determined less than two percent of the U.S. population identified as homosexual in 2014 and then bluntly asked: "Where is the majority in that?"

"They are intent on trying to force the true majority into silence-they want us to just sit down and be quiet. Even if the majority of Americans did support gay marriage, God's Word doesn't need a majority vote," Graham went on to say, "God's Word is true regardless of the winds of moral change, and we must stand up for biblical truth in the midst of a depraved society."

Jenner maintained during his 20/20 interview that his transgender life style does not mean he is gay but Graham's position is the same regardless. What are your thoughts on Rev. Graham's comments? Leave your thought in the comment section below:
