Rockstar Games has confirmed on a "Red Dead Redemption" sequel. However, the developer has not provided any additional details pertaining the title of the next one.

According to Christian Today, the only sure clue that we have on the sequel is that Rockstar Games wants the title to be something that will establish the game as a competitive franchise that will provide a remarkable series of games in the industry.

It was also reported that the next "Red Dead Redemption" game will come out late 2016. Gamers won't have to wait very long since apparently, the developers have been working on the sequel for about three years now. The game may come into fruition in the next couple of months.

There are also speculations that the title of the next one will probably be "Read Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West." It was said to be leaked by a former Rockstar employee.

According to Master Herald, the New York City-based developer will be adding three additional playable characters in the game. The first two characters are Seth and Irish. Seth is an immigrant from Ireland while Irish is a bank teller hailing from Kansas City. The players will be the one to create and personalize the third character, which is going to be a fun part of the game.

The game is still under development and nothing is official yet until confirmed by Rockstar themselves. "Red Dead Redemption" was released on May 18, 2010 and has since scored high reviews from a variety of sites. GameSpot scored it, 9.5/10; IGN has it at 9.7/10 while Edge scored it a perfect 10.
