Pokemon X and Y News, Rumors: Pokemon Z Could Arrive in 2015 with Typhlosion, Meganium and Feraligatr Mega Evolutions

New reports indicate the next game pushing forward the franchise could be Pokemon Z or a Pokemon Delta Emerald remake.

According to IDigitlalTimes, Pokemon averages just about one game a year. Last year it was X and Y, and this year Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are expected with the latter being remakes. This leaves next year for a new game. The report suggests the long rumored Pokemon Z featuring Zygarde as its cover character could be next down the line, or a remake of 2005's Emerald, Delta Emerald. The name was also recently trademarked by Nintendo.

If the version of the game is Z, IDigitalTimes suggested instead of a generation one starter alternate such as Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur with Mega Stones, the game would offer a generation two starter, which would give gamers a Mega version of Typhlosion, Meganium and Feraligatr.

Another point the report states is that generation one and three starters have been given the Mega Evolution form, so only two has been left out for now.

In other news information on Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been revealed, the Mega Evolution form on the cover for characters, Groudon and Kyogre, is called Primal Reversion.

According to the game's developer Game Freak, Primal Reversion will make the two legendary characters much bigger and stronger.

"It was a primal age, early in the world's history. The natural world was overflowing with energy. That energy granted Groudon and Kyogre an overwhelming power. Brimming with the overwhelming power granted to them by nature's energy, their transformation was named 'Primal Reversion' by later people. And the people called their tormentors Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre," it stated on the game's site. These two Pokemon are shown in a new and special form on the cover of the game's box.

Gamespot made mention that information on Primal Reversion has not gone beyond simple type and attack stat changes, there is still more to the new evolution.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games are remakes of the Game Boy Advance classics that came out in 2003, Ruby and Sapphire.
