'Pokemon Sun And Moon' News: Nintendo Will Make New Announcement Next Month

In line with Nintendo's much anticipated "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon," the company is set to unveil more updates in August.

The Pokemon Company is set to release new information on the upcoming video game on Aug. 1, Siliconera has learned, as cited by Tech Times. As per the publication, the major announcement is set to commence at 6:00 a.m. PT, 9:00 a.m. ET, and 2:00 p.m. BST.

Nintendo and Pokemon have yet to confirm the details to be announced on Aug. 1; however, they might remain tight-lipped about the updates. In line with this, fans assume that the companies are set to unveil possible details on new Pokemon and some in-game features.

Previously, The Pokemon Company released a video for the upcoming titles and they saw new Pokemon species, such as the water bug Pokemon Wimpod, the grass Pokemon Bounsweet, the fairy Pokemon Comfey, the ground horse Mudsdale, the ghost fairy Pokemon Mimikyu, and the normal fighting Pokemon Bewear. Along with them is a brand new battle system in Battle Royal.

According to VG247, Battle Royal promotes players' battle strategies with their faces and body language. In addition, the battle progresses as small groups are assembled to take down the threats in the early part of the game. As per the publication, Battle Royal is set to be unique that the regular battling system, which could be a pivotal factor in video game championships tournaments.

For the time being, fans and gamers are set to choose among Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio as their starter Pokemon when "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" hit the market on Nov. 18.
