In latest Playstation Plus Free Games news, the official release date for the upcoming 'DriveClub' PS4 game, as part of the Sony's latest gaming promotion, has been confirmed.

"Driveclub will be in addition to you regular PS Plus allocation. There's loads of content included. Do try it out - I think you'll have a great time with it, and at no additional cost to your wallet," said PlayStation Blog Manager Fred Dutton in his Sony Computer Entertainment Europe blog.

'DriveClub' won't be free for non-members, but it will be likely offered for free on launch day for PS Plus members. This is what Sony did for August and September, so this could be a reoccurring pattern for the free game list each month.

Dutton also revealed the date when fans can expect the latest Playstation Plus Free Games to be available for download.

"At present it looks like the next batch of Plus games will go live on October 8, so look out for the announcement on or around October 1,"

In addition, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Product Manager Chris Brown recently confirmed the upcoming release date and the price for the open world racing game that will be bundled with the PS4 video game.

"I'm excited to reveal two more official PS4 bundles for DriveClub in Europe, available when the game launches on 8th October 2014," said Brown, in an statement, according to the official PlayStation blog.

"First up is the Glacier White PS4 bundle with an RRP of €439.99."

'DriveClub' is expected to be released in the European market on October 8, 2014, while the US version is expected to debut on October 7.
