PlayStation 4.5 Neo Release Date, Specs, Price Rumors: Sony Not Giving Official Confirmation?

With no news coming from Sony on the Playstation 4.5, people are left to look out for rumors for any clues regarding the release date on the latest console.

The most intriguing among the rumors is the alleged launch of the Playstation 4.5 Neo during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which is scheduled from June 14-16 of this year.

This was also backed by Digital Spy which claimed that the console's release date will be unveiled during the E3. The website even gave a price point of $399 for the next generation Playstation 4.5.

There's a lot to be excited about as the console will feature 8 Jaguar Cores CPU at 2.1 GHz, as well as a better AMD GCN, 36 CUs GPU at 911 MHz and 8 GB GDDR5, at least according to the initial reports.

There are also rumors about a different hard drive this time around, although there are no details whether the changes refer to the connection speed or higher capacity for the Playstation 4.5. Meanwhile, fans would want better Wi-Fi integration.

The more likely rumor to happen is the September release date for the Playstation 4.5, with Sony giving more details during the E3 event, as speculated by VR World citing the financial report from AMD.

"Internally known as PlayStation Neo, the console should make its debut at the Tokyo Game Show, with availability coming as soon as Holiday Season 2016," it said.
