PlayStation 4.5 Release Date, Specs: Game Console Arrives In December?; Features Include Backwards Compatibility?

Along with talks on the features of the PlayStation 4.5, also known as PlayStation Neo and PlayStation 4K, it is rumored that fans and gamers are set to see and use the anticipated gaming console this year.

According to Wall Street Journal, as cited by Tech Advisor UK, the PlayStation 4.5 is set to hit gaming stores before Christmas this year. Prior to this, it is assumed that the PlayStation VR is set for an October release. Sony had no comment with regard the rumored release dates for its forthcoming gaming consoles.

In addition to its gaming features, the PlayStation 4.5 is also rumored to support 4K streaming from media streaming firms like Netflix. This feature stands as a reason behind the gaming console's nickname, PlayStation 4K.
