'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' Latest News: Leaked Footage Reveals Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar [VIDEO]

Even as the filming of 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' continues in Australia, recently a high-definition video showing the behind-the-scenes was leaked online. The leaked video, shot on a gigantic wooden ship having blue screens in the background, revealed Javier Bardem portraying the character of Captain Salazar.

According to IB Times, the central plot of the upcoming Johnny Depp movie hinges on Captain Salazar, and his crew, who are trying to escape the Devil's Triangle and seeking to kill all the pirates on the high seas. This leaked video was posted on YouTube and it displays a scene from the movie being shot with Bardem on the eerie ship.

In the video, the ship is shown to be very old, having a broken mast. The description of the leaked video notes it is a compilation of four different videos and 24 new video clips that were leaked earlier.

In the meantime, the production of 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' has shifted to a new location in Australia. According to a report in The Northern Stark, currently the movie is being filmed at Lennox Head in New South Wales. The report further states that the publicist of 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' has confirmed that a number of of the cast members will be joining the crew at the location to film a scene soon.

However, till now it is not certain as to the precise cast members will be shooting the scenes at the new location. According to an earlier report in IB Times, Johnny Depp has already left Australia to be with his family following reports that the actor, who portrays the lead character of Captain Jack Sparrow, may possibly facing a jail term in Australia for not declaring his dogs to customs on his arrival.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Orlando Bloom has joined the cast and crew members to commence filming his scenes. He will be reprising his role as William Turner. However, the production team has not confirmed his presence at Lennox Head.

According to the publicist of the movie, the new location is "gorgeous" and the weather too is reported to be "stunning." As of now, 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' is slated to hit the theaters in July 2017.
