A Denver Colorado rock band encouraged fans to worship prominent Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning with Satanic clothing.

Speedwolf, a thrash/speed metal band from Denver, sought out to set a trend for Super Bowl XLVIII with shirts that read "Hail Peyton" on top of an inverted pentagram on the front. The back of the shirt read, "6 + 6 + 6 = 18;" the three sixes equaling Manning's jersey number.

The shirts were reportedly sold out at $20 a piece on the site. Its description read, "Our eternal support for the Denver Broncos continues with our new 'Hail Peyton' shirts. Printed on Gildan-brand heavy cotton orange shirts with blue and white ink. Only 100 made."

There is no word whether Manning who is a Christian knows of this group and their clothing line, but it would not be the first time the four-time league MVP dealt with people trying to affiliate him with Satan. Some of Manning's critics have called him "Seyton Manning" rhyming his first name with the devils name itself. However Speedwolf's intentions were the exact opposite, naming their Manning merchandise, "Hail Peyton" in praise of the quarterback.

The football star revealed in his autobiography "Manning",that he came to faith in Jesus as a 13-year-old boy in a New Orleans church.

"I committed my life to Christ, and that faith has been most important to me ever since." Manning explained in his book. "I hope (and pray) I don't do too many things that displease Him before I get to Heaven myself. I believe, too, that life is much better and freer when you're committed to God in that way."

Speedwolf announced their new Manning shirts on Facebook in October of last year and marketed them as "Christmas" presents. The site heavily focused on Devil worship, and they also had bumper stickers and hoods devoted to the Satanic worship of the famous Quarter back.

Many took to social media to show their disapproval of the Speedwolf lines product, "I ABSOLUTELY FIND THIS SICKENING AND I BELIEVE THAT PEYTON MANNING IS A CHRISTIAN..NOT A SATANIST!!!" Another said, "That is just stupid and sickening. I will tell you. I live in Denver, the way people are brainwashed and manipulated by sports, entertainment, media etc is just sickening."
