'Persona 5' Release Date News & Update: April 4 Launch Is Revealed

After the delay, the "Persona 5" release date has been confirmed to be on April 4 next year. The release date for "Persona 5" was first announced on Valentine's day next year.

Atlus PR manager John Hardin revealed in a blog post first apologized for the delay but it only happened because they wanted to make sure the English version will run seamless before shipping it out in the US and the rest of the world.

But there's a bit of good news from the developer as he said that the "Persona 5" will have dual audio for PlayStation 3 and PS 4 on the released date. It will come as DLC, just because it's easier to deliver it that way. But it will come at no cost.

"People have been asking for this since P5 was announced, and through herculean effort from just about every division of Atlus, we managed to arrange this," he wrote. "This was something we especially wanted to do for the Atlus Faithful, the ones who still appreciate our English dubs and respect all the effort we put into localizing."

The developer revealed last year the cast members of the English version of "Persona 5." According to IGN, some of these voice talents have worked for "One Punch Man," "Super Smash Bros. and "Persona 4: Dancing All Night."

Prior to the release date, people can play a demo of "Persona 5" at the PSX 2016 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California in December this year. Apart from the demo, a collector's card of the game is also available.
