'Percy Jackson 3' Release Date, Cast Rumors: Logan Lerman Addresses Film Reports [VIDEO]

In latest 'Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse' news, 'Fury' actor Logan Lerman recently spoke about the popular mythological sci-fi movie franchise returning to the big screen.

"I just wanted to say that I do not know if there will be a third movie, I had not heard anything in a while and the publication of the second part was already some time ago," said Lerman, according to a JBG News report.

In another interview, the 22-year-old California native recently talked about the movie film franchise that launched his career into superstardom four years ago - 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief'.

"Most of them are getting old enough to appreciate this. They're probably in college now. I wasn't aware of that, wasn't thinking about it. I was just aware that I wanted to work with ['Fury' director David [Ayer] and I wanted to challenge myself. I hope that people appreciate it. We put a lot of love into this movie," said Lerman to Men's Journal in an interview when he promoted his new World War II film ('Fury') which also stars Shia LaBeouf and Brad Pitt in lead roles.

Previously, Lerman talked about what it was like to play as the son of Greek mythological god of the sea (Poseidon), Percy Jackson, in two popular films.

"It's been a great experience for me," said Lerman to MTV News in March 2014 in reference to a possible third film regarding the demigod, when he promoted his film 'Noah' which starred Russell Crowe earlier this year.

"It's opened up a lot of doors for me, but I don't think it's happening."

Lerman reprised his role as the lead protagonist in last year's film titled 'Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,' which reportedly made $199,850,315 on the big screen worldwide (and $68,559,554 in the US), according to a Box Office Mojo report.

Lerman's latest film 'Fury' was released in movie theaters in America on October 17, 2014, but sadly as of right now, there are no reports whether or not if the third film in the popular Percy Jackson series will ever appear on the big screen.
