Pastor Uses Hip-Hop to Share Amazing Testimony of How God Saved Him From Suicide [VIDEO]

Rapper and Pastor Devine Turner will be releasing a track called "End of My Rope" to address the problem of suicide. The song features SPZRKT, and it is off of his new album, Now or Never, which releases on September 30.

In the pastor's press release it states that suicide is the third leading cause of death for people 15-24 right after accidents and homicides.

Turner shares that he battled with depression and insecurity despite accepting Jesus at 6-years-old. His struggles caused him to twice attempt suicide when he was young.

"As a freshman in high school, I was confronted with obstacles that many teenagers face. Peer pressure, low self-esteem and an envy for the street life, caused me to handle life's problems on my own and question God's existence," shared Turner in a press release.

"Suicide has been a hush, hush word in the church. Our young people are suffering with decisions about sexuality, abstinence, inner-city gang involvement, substance abuse, and so much more. We exist to educate faith-based assembles on effective ways to minister to suicide attempters and survivors of suicide. Christian youth especially need to know that their individual mistakes do not translate to them being a mistake," chimed in Donna M. Scott of Unmasking Suicide.

Turner found hope in Jesus and is now the pastor of Revolution Church and also the CEO of Disciples Thru Media. His ministry looks to reach those who are struggling and give them peace.

"When I was 12 yrs old I was so depressed that I tried to hang myself twice in one day. Both times I was prevented from committing suicide by a knowing that the God of Heaven and Earth created me with purpose," Turner wrote on the song's video description. "Spzrkt and I wrote this song to help people like me who get low sometimes. Get help. Your problem is mental and spiritual. Don't take your own life, give it to Christ because He can heal you."
