'Outlander' Season 2 Episode 4 Preview: Jamie, Claire Host Lovely Dinner Party To Undercut Jacobite Movement?

Following his failure to thwart the efforts of Prince Charles, Jamie will try to undermine the Duke of Sandringham by throwing a lovely dinner party and inviting all the big-league members of the Jacobite rebellion. However, preview for the episode shows that things will not go according to his plan.

In episode 4 of "Outlander" season 2 titled "La Dame Blanche," Jamie and Claire will ask their new Parisian friends to come over for dinner. The preview video for the episode shows that the party will be graced by Prince Charles and the Duke of Sandringham, whose crucial role in the plans of Prince Charles was previously learned by Jamie.  

The episode will see how Jamie puts out all stops in undercutting the Jacobite movement and preventing Prince Charles from forging an alliance between France and Britain as part of his war efforts.

The official synopsis for the episode reads, "Claire and Jamie throw and elaborate dinner party intended to derail investors in Prince Charles' war effort. Meanwhile, Claire's revelation that Jack Randall is alive sparks Jamie in an unexpected way as he and Claire struggle to regain their physical intimacy."

At the dinner, the Duke will be joined by Alex Randall, the younger brother of Jack Randall.

Based on the preview, things will start to turn from bad to worse as Jamie trades zingers with one of their guests, while Claire protects the timid Mary Hawkins at the height of the commotion.
