'Orange is the New Black' Season 2 is getting into production and the buzz surrounding the Netflix hit show has been exploding since Season 1 exploded in popularity. 

Taylor Schilling plays Piper Champan on the series and is playing off of the real life story and book of Piper Kerman. 

In the video above, Piper Kerman discusses how her real life story happened and what led her to writing a book about her experience in prison. 

Director Jenji Kohan shares how she heard about Kerman's book and how it eventually manifested itself into her being a part of the making of the hit Netflix series. 

They also share behind the scenes into the popular show and give some insight on the filming process. 

The cast also includes Jason Biggs (American Pie) as Larry Bloom, Laura Prepon ("That 70's Show") as Alex Vause, Kate Mulgrew as Galina "Red" Reznikov and Danielle Brooks as Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson. 

'Orange is the New Black' Season 2 will release on Netflix in 2014.
