'Orange is the New Black’ Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers, Cast News: Next Netflix Series Set for June 2015?

The comedy series based out of a correctional prison for women, 'Orange is the New Black', will debut its third season next year. The news was revealed by Laura Prepon who plays the character of Alex Vause on the show.

Fans can expect that Season 3 will include additional star casts and is going to be bigger and more dramatic than the last two seasons by far.

The Season 3 will focus on the relationship between Alex Vause and Piper Chapman. Viewers will see Vause returning to Litchfield penitentiary after receiving a call from Chapman. Vause will have a bigger presence in the third season and Prepon has already chalked out the details of her character with the show's producers.

Fans will be excited to learn that Daya, who was seen pregnant with George Mendez's baby, will be seen with baby bump in Season 3. Also, it is reported that George's mother may appear on the show.

On that note, Pablo Schreiber who plays the character of George will not feature in the third season as he has other projects in hand.

Additionally, new inmates are set to join in Season 3 and the first on the list is Mary Steen Burgen who is reportedly very excited to be part of the show. However, details regarding her character have not been revealed by the show's producers yet.

The highlight of the new season will be, if rumors are to be believed the appearance of Marsha Blake. However, the 'Django Unchained' star will play the role of a correctional prison officer rather than an inmate.

The sitcom which is streamed on Netflix is also rumored to show the deepening relationship between Polly and Larry according to sources.

Beyond that, some speculate that the show is set to return to the air in June 2015.
