Due to the phenomenal success of the first season of "One Punch Man," fans have been patiently waiting for updates on the release of its next season. Recent reports about the hit anime series suggest that the highly anticipated release of season 2 will happen sooner than expected.

According to reports, "One Punch Man" season 2 might be released before the Halloween season. This is a lot sooner than the initial announcement that the new season will be released in early 2017. If rumors that season 2 will arrive before Halloween are true, then fans can expect the series to hit their screens anytime between this month and early October.

Meanwhile, it is worth noting that all the seven volumes of the popular manga have already been covered by the first season of the series, which reportedly covered around three to five chapters of the manga per episode. Considering that pace, it is possible that Madhouse Entertainment might have to wait a little longer for the completion of all the story arcs needed to cover the entire season 2.

As for the plot of the upcoming season, there are speculations that Saitama will face Garou, who will serve as his most powerful opponent. In the manga, Garou is known as the only character who can survive the powerful punch of Saitama. Fans speculate that the incredible strength of Garou will intrigue Saitama in the upcoming season and make him want to face him in a battle.

While the early Halloween release date has not been confirmed yet, fans of the series can only wait until the rumors are finally confirmed.
